Step 3: Report Generation and Personalized Recommendations
After completing your evaluation, we will review the results with you and your family, providing personalized recommendations based on your assessment.
- Best-case scenario: If no restrictions are necessary, you may be cleared to resume driving independently.
- Adaptive driving solutions: If adaptive equipment or techniques are required, additional training will typically be recommended before an adaptive equipment prescription is provided.
In some cases, if driving is no longer a safe option, our recommendation may be to discontinue driving. We understand that this can be challenging, and our team is here to provide support and guidance, including counseling on alternative transportation solutions to help maintain your mobility and independence as a non-driver.
Our recommendations are made with your safety—and the safety of others on the road—in mind. It’s important to remember that conditions can change, and advancements in technology may provide new opportunities in the future. If your situation improves, we encourage you to return for a reassessment.
